GLOP is proud to support the incredible work that the Food Bank carries out in Spain by donating 1% of our sales to charity each year. The Food Bank of Spain is a non-governmental organization focused on reducing hunger and malnutrition in Spain by collecting, processing, and distributing surplus food. Objectives

Activities
▪ Collection of surplus food: The Food Bank of Spain collects surplus food from agricultural producers, food processors, distributors, and retail stores.
▪ Food treatment: The collected food is treated and prepared for distribution to frontline charities.
▪ Food distribution: The treated food is distributed to frontline charities, such as shelters, hospitals, day centres, etc.
▪ Education and awareness: The Food Bank of Spain promotes education and awareness about hunger and malnutrition, and about the importance of reducing the amount of food that is wasted and lost in the supply chain.
Structure
▪ The organization has a national structure with delegations in all the autonomous communities of Spain.
▪ It has a network of partners and collaborators that includes agricultural producers, food processors, distributors, retail stores, charities, and other actors in the supply chain.
Achievements
